Ⅰbeam 

Hot rolled common I-beams, also known as steel beams, are long steel bars with I-shaped cross sections. Its cross-sectional dimension is expressed in millimeters of waist height (h)× waist thickness (d). for example, I-beams with waist height of 160mm, leg width of 88mm, and waist thickness of 6mm are marked as "I-beams 160×88×6". another marking method for I-beams is to use model numbers, i.e. the centimeters of waist height, such as I-beams 16#. I-beams with the same waist height but different waist thickness and leg width need to be distinguished by adding A, B and C on the right side of the model, such as 32a#, 32b#, 32c#. Hot rolled I-beams are divided into ordinary I-beams and light I-beams.

(1) common i-beams (GB706-88, GB1591-79) A. Main Uses: Ordinary I-beams are widely used in various building structures, bridges, vehicles, supports and machinery, etc.

(2) Light I-beam (YB163-63) The wings of common I-beams and light I-beams are gradually thinner from the root to the edge with a certain angle. Compared with common I-beams, hot rolled light I-beams have wider legs and thinner waist and legs when the waist height is the same, i.e. wide legs and thin walls.
