The allowable variations of milling of ends shall be in conformity with the requirements listed in the Table. Quantity for inspection: inspect randomly 10% of the total of milled surfaces. Inspection method: measure with steel rulers, angle squares, and clearance gauges.

The allowable variations of installation of welding bevels shall be in conformity with the requirements listed in the Table 8.4.2. Quantity for inspection: inspect randomly 10% of the total of bevels, but not less than 3. 

The milled surfaces exposed shall be protected by rust prevention. Quantity for inspection: one hundred percent. Inspection method: examine by eye observation.

For steel elements, the allowable variations of overall dimensions mainly controlled shall be in conformity with the requirements.  

   

The allowable variations of ordinary items of overall dimensions shall be in conformity with the requirements specified in the C.0.4~C.1.0 in the Appendix C of this Code. Quantity for inspection: inspect randomly 10% of the total of bevels. Inspection method: see the C.0.4~C.1.0 in the Appendix C of this Code.
